True PEAK! I've read it multiple times and rewatched the anime multiple times! CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2!!

ohhh care to elaborate? was js planning on reading this<33 but u got me curious on the ending. i have no qualms getting spoiled, so u can say whatever (ˆoˆ˶)

I highly recommend the story, I was kind of hesitant on continuing for the first few chapters because it wasn’t hitting for me but I absolutely loved it soon enough! ML is a bit stoic and intimidating at first when FL meets him, but you know from the start that he isn’t really your typical cold, uncaring ML because the story shows his hero side and how he feels isolated without any friends or family. He starts revealing the silly parts of him as he stays by FL’s side and they make a great pair!






Spoilers for the ending: FL saves the world by defeating the predator, which is this massive monster that annihilates worlds/planets. All dungeons are gone now except one but all the hunters still have their abilities and items. She’s insanely OP by the end and the system gives her Earth as her reward, so she’s Earth’s ruler now basically. ML and her confess to each other, FL binds ML’s lifespan to her own and they’re happy with everyone else! The ending is pretty satisfying and the loose ends are tied up. A few side stories would’ve been nice though.

Yeah I can tell you skipped to the ending. Otherwise you would've learned that the characters are perfectly consistent.

ML didn't change. You just learn more of his personality over time. You constantly see his maniac side he shows in the beginning when he fights. He only starts showing his goofy side when he starts to truly trust and only in private. Just because the story didn't show you that side of him from the get go doesn't mean it didn't exist.

His character was great and the romance had the perfect buildup and payoff.

And huh yeah i get that whole concept. Heavy past trauma -> cold, individual, distanf -> onlu feel safe and open up to mc -> turns goofy and whatever you call it. Its a super standard trope in manhwa that have romance in it. But thats exactly why it bugs me so much. The switch feels too extreme ans suddden, cames off as straight up ooc. His backstory just slapped on as a lazy excuse to justify the clingy puppy phase without any real convincing gradual change.

The story mighy be great who enjoy such romance but its not for me. That typa romance ruins the overall vibes of this fantasy action plot. Not that i agaisnt romance, just how they write it is lazy in my opinion.

I respect it if you enjoy this, this kinda romance trope popular for a reason fs. Im happy too that without i even replying the one who first reply to me, someone already explain of the good of this story. Sure.

I personally find this not for me and i dont find my reasoning as bad so its right for me to find it not worth reccomending since people have different taste... dont you agree? lol. So no biggie.

ML isn’t very cold or distant, even at the beginning of the story though lol. The only reason why FL was awkward around him at first was because she didn’t know him well, he has a bad reputation, and she felt guilty for taking his soul. It’s cool if you prefer no romance in action stories though, I’m usually like that too

Based on my own data and anecdotal accounts... It can happened if you are the type that 'do not easily fall in love' or easily get attracted to someone, but once you become attracted to someone or high in love --change personality Those kind of people have those tendencies... ages around 21 - 30.

But, above 30 years old, naah. If that person is nonchalant with relationships, rare it would change drastically.
