it’s been days since the release of the final chapter and then the creators note, and I’m still disappointed. I bought these chapters on lezhin and her rushed ending was so so disappointing.

We should’ve been able to see what happened after they cried in the street near the bus stop. We should’ve been able to see how jaekyung showed dan the rings. we should’ve been able to see the conversation that was had where dan went from calling jaekyung, “mr. joo” to jaekyung. it’s just so lazy. I’m happy we got to see them smiling and sweet in that chapter, but we never got to see the progression of how it got there so it feels disingenuous.

she apologized about the second season being shorter in the CN, but she really could have included even just 3 more chapters to just show some progression of it all.

2 time skips in the final chapter for 99 chapters full of angst and sex. Sure we’ll get side stories, but I find it hard to believe she’ll ever touch on anything that was missed or disregarded in the main story.

I think she should really take a break and figure out how to create and follow through with a plot and storyline that is more than what we were given.

This could have been done so so much better. I’m not here to argue about jaekyung being a toxic top either and dan being a weak twink or whatever other narrative. jaekyung’s character was always morally grey, it’s just delivery here was all wrong.

like I understand maybe she had things going on, but wouldn’t you want something you put 4 years into to be done well? I also find it hard to believe that she was underpaid as jinx and bj Alex are still one of the top manhwas on their website. probably not even worth it to try and guess what was going on either.

in any case, I am still a fan of this story, I’m still grateful for the characters she introduced. but bc of how this was done, I’m gonna take anything else that’s released with a grain of salt.

I know a lot of people hoped that it’d be Jo/ian in the end, but it was never going to be them. Ian and TJ were always tethered to each other amidst their blurred, undefined relationship. Even in their separation it was so clear their bones were yearning for each other. The ending is so surreal, gives me the same kind of feel “Under The Greenlight” did. It was really beautifully done, and paced so well. I’m buying the physical copies, and I’m glad I waited until the end to read. I couldn’t imagine having read this while it was ongoing..

the last chapter said epilogue AND side stories, so i can't wait. i wanna see a wedding and i wanna see them have wolf/doggo puppies

it was fun at first with how dramatic yeoreum is over everything, but then it got to be annoying. especially getting closer and closer to the end because i knew it was gonna be rushed. 17 years of loving someone can't possibly be easy to let go, and noeul tried. but yeoreum was too insufferable and abrasive.

i feel like if the author spent less chapters of them being this friends with benefits, and more of them talking and stuff it would have been better. like i liked the end talk they had where noeul said he's going to try to be with luna, and yeoreum was like ok, and noeul called him a coward. but like we could've got there faster is what i'm saying.. this had potential, but i wouldn't read it again

tbh this story was such a roller coaster but still sooo fun. at first i'm like why is shinjoo insane, but he kinda grows on me through out. he's just this hot pervert. i don't really understand his upbringing or background. he's loaded, and does well in school so his mom doesn't care? i guess i like that, shout out to shinjoo's mom for being an ally.

the ending felt unfinished w shinjoo saying he'd have a foursome with myungtae, kyesoo, and myungtae's older brother, and then myungtae and kyesoo are having sex.. i guess i understand, like their story is done, so i'm glad there's a spin-off

so funny that myungtae's brother is 2 years OLDER than shinjoo, but was calling shinjoo an old man lmao

i forgot about this story and then came back to it. i found the main couple tolerable but definitely a little frustrating. cute nonetheless tho. tak x sanho was absolutely awful. like i remember thinking glasses is unhinged, why is blonde allowing this? why are the FRIENDS allowing this?? but then they finally communicate and i'm like ok, i don't mind them.
grateful i never read about the boss and never will, just nope.

idk if i'd recommend reading this to anyone lmao. for ME, IN MY OPINION, this is like a one and done story for sure. not horrendous, but i've no reason to read again.

this is all over the place... a BDSM humiliation/free use kink with consenting adults would've been too easy i guess, so let's make it 5 chapters of rape and assault???... thank goodness it's just the artist that's the same as "cry me a river" and not the writer, cause the writing is on garbage...i haven't read cry me a river yet either, but it's on my list

this is so cute. the art style wasn't my favorite, but they're both young and dumb (*affectionate). i'm still a little confused tho. did joongdo ever confess that he only got with youngsoo because of a bet with his friends? and then the friends not liking youngsoo because they felt like he mooched is crazy considering they know about the bet..

and then did joongdo really get scammed? his family relationship is strained but he's still wealthy because he invests in stocks.. idk idk, those were the only things i felt like were plot holes. but maybe they'll get answered in the side stories...
