im so used to the dubious plots in BL that this doesnt even phase me anymore.... i have a feeling it's gonna be pretty forgettable though ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌
finally a slow burn that actually has something interesting going on... i keep forgetting this is supposed to be bl tbh (￣∇￣")
i mean i kinda expected this ending but it still tore me apart man.... probably the most brutal (viscerally and emotionally) manga I'll ever read tbh, the mangaka saw common trigger warnings and went "yeah man let me do all of those but in the most beautiful art style you'll ever see with a plot that makes it impossible to put down, just for the lulz" and changes the way my neurons communicate for the forseeable future.
been following this since the first ever (not even translated) chapter, and now i feel kinda lost tbh. what will i waste precious time thinking about in the middle of the night now? ill be with a wife and kids in 10 years still thinking "J really had to do it like that huh..."
i actually personally think the one-shot format worked really well for all of these, i think the premises are simple enough + the best parts are already shown!!! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
read it all in one sitting, cant say it was terrible story-wise (i wouldn't have finished it otherwise) but i definitely wont re-read it in its entirety. the smut scenes were mostly alright (a little cringy at some parts), but they're definitely nothing above the average manhwa quality...
i really wish we saw more of actual werewolves though, theres one brief flashback (that added absolutely nothing to the plot imo), but otherwise theyre just... regular humans the entire time. we never even got to see wolf kata... i feel like if one of the main characters being a werewolf is literally the core part of the story, it should actually be shown instead of just being a cheesy way to add a heightened libido to a character.... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
their dynamic is a little dubious but obviously it's supposed to be a cute story without drama, so ill accept it!! the scene of lyco's heat seemed a bit out of place though since nothing even remotely similar happens afterwards, plus he was still a kid??? it was distasteful but whatever i guess ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
praying that this won't end up with like 20 layers of equally stupid misunderstandings that most mangas with this cliché go for... either way this artist never misses so itll probs be enjoyable anyway!! (*´ω｀*)
i mean its calmer than the ending i expected but god reality hurts so bad.... i love this author....
