It is really nice to read sweet stories like this. I am glad mangakas still write and draw stories about youthful first love, I know they can be little cliche but I really love cliches like this
I love when mangakas actually draw different kind of beasts or monsters, since most of mangas with furries or mosters actually have same kind of beasts, it is always wolf, leopard etc or if mangaka felt rebellious cat and very few of them has diversity. I am not complaining tho I also love them but I really really love seeing different kind of creatures!
I am talking about creatures/furries/monsters that don't have human form btw. It is not real furry/moster if they can transform human! (I will exclude Elias since he doesn't have his human form and just can transform humans he saw before)

It is a cute manga. Not a masterpiece but also not bad. ML loves MC in both forms, I don't think he loves dog form more , he loves both. My only compliment is three years time skip felt unnecessary, it didn't add anything to story.

Yes, go on, take it, take the most interesting part of story, villain Arthur. Because why wouldn’t you? I’m honestly so disappointed that the main villain isn’t the real Arthur that I can’t even bother with Gawain’s ridiculous plot. When I first started to this series, one reason was ships but it was a small reason. The real reason I kept reading/watching was Arthur. A character as bright as daylight turning evil because of power, maturing and changing the way he thinks or racism? Now that’s interesting! But of course, why would we be allowed to have a plot that fascinating? Naturally, it turns out he wasn’t the real Arthur at all.
I really can't understand the censorship in China. Why some of them have r18 scenes while we can't even see uncensored kiss in some of them??

I have very mixed feelings about the anime. The anime is great on its own, but I can’t help wondering how the story would have been handled if the anime had never been made and the mangaka hadn’t been harassed, and one day Volume 3 of the manga had been released. For example, maybe Hirose would have discovered his sexuality through the teacher, been rejected, and then bonded with Nakamura over that shared experience. The possibilities were endless, and there could have been so many other directions the story might have taken. Now, the chance of ever seeing those kinds of routes has basically disappeared.
I doubt that the author was going to release a third volume because the first one is originally a one-shot manga, a single volume, then made a sequel to it 4 years later, due to the audience wanting more, and now it's been 4 years...no one really said if the author was going to make a third sequel to the manga.
I’ve been here since day one. When the first volume came out, I was already waiting for fan translations in English before it was officially licensed. I’ve seen all the ups and downs. What I’m talking about is just a possibility, and manga series can continue years later. For example, even though Cardcaptor Sakura had ended, it started again 16 years later with Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card. But right now, for Nakamura that possibility is much smaller.
First off, it's not 16 years, it's 20 years, and secondly, yeah, they aren't going to make a third sequel, it's their final work, honestly, since western fans kicked them off social media. We have no idea if the author is ever going to make a third sequel to it. I don't think they are going to do a sequel to it, as it's just the end, since it's already been 4 years since they came out of the second sequel
At least do a little research before replying. Sakura’s manga ended in 2000, and Clear Card started in 2016. And you’re so fixated on the idea that Nakamura’s new volume will never come out that you completely missed what my comment was actually about. Honestly, you don't know the right age for the Cardcaptor Sakura, plus it's not even a good comparison for the manga. Also, I'm not delusional to think Go for it, Nakamura! would have a third sequel, it's a single volume that got a second sequel, and they are just reposting the second volume from Motto Ganbare! Nakamura-kun, but only the official translation. The author was never going to make a third sequel, if they did, they would have done it already.
I get what you say and I also think it's a shame that they erase all the posibility of making hirose realize his sexuality by his crush on the teacher. At the same, there are thing I like better in the anime. In the manga there is no progress at all, while in the anime we get to see them both getting closer, even if it's still as friends.
