As far as I remember there are pills and injections. The chip is just more effective because he might forget to take the pills. Also, the chip has an app to check the pheromones, although he never used it. I think the app can also pause the suppression if the omega wants to get pregnant.

It is a really really good story. I like the art, conclusion and how the characters developed n mebed throughout the comic. I m happy for all of them. I don't usually read side stories but this one I finished till the end.
