I'm starting to feel different to dohu. At first he's the character I like, full of curiousity, good at analyzing people, very aware of the surrounding, detailed, etc. But in this chapter he sounds annoying to me. He said "I know his personality" I mean wake up dohu, you haven't met each other for years and he goes like "mr know it all". I hate this part, but I hope he can face the reality sooner bcs if I ever got into this situation, I will keep my place as it should be (apologize, clear the understanding, and build a professional relationship)
I totally see what you’re saying and I agree. I feel like he also definitely hasn’t moved on and it’s been a grudge of his for a while. I can see him failing to connect with blondie since he’s stuck in the past.

But he wasn't wrong though. Remember when they met again, Dohu literally said to Juheon how little he has changed, and Dohu is not wrong as he was able to predict Juheon response towards him correctly, including how Juheon immediately jumped to his side when he mistakenly thought Dohu got his hand burned. Let's call a spade a spade, neither of them has ever moved on from what happened. Especially for Dohu, his time has stayed frozen for those 4 years before his encounter with Juheon again.
I don't see how this is a grudge? This feels more like regret than grudge. Dohu regrets for not holding onto Juheon more before he disappeared, hence why he is determined to stay by Juheon's side this time.
I was going to use regret but I feel like grudge conveys the more negative/self-inflicting resentment Dohu is feeling internally (if that makes sense)…
I also feel like grudge wouldn't necessarily be the right word but I understand where you're coming from. Personally I feel like grudge would also include hatred and a need to get even or cause harm back but like dohu said himself he doesn't want to harm or use Juheon anymore. If anything, maybe he's holding a grudge against himself for how he acted or failed to act? But definitely not towards Juheon
That’s what I meant when I said “self-inflicting” and “internally” like he hates how he’s acted in the past and hates how its haunting him for so long that its actively harming his self-preservation
Yes looking back I do see that I originally thought you meant how Dohu felt towards Juheon not towards himself but I do agree on him holding a grudge against himself and not being able to move on and truthfully I don't see how things could get better unless Dohu somehow over the years learned to express himself better or talk things out without assumptions which from what we've seen so far isn't really the case (╯︵╰,)
Exactly how I feel! Dohu doesn’t seem to have the best understanding of how to cope with what he’s feeling and how to properly convey his emotions! I hope that maybe someone, other than Juheon like his family or friends, can see what’s happening and sit down with Dohu before he can really tell Juheok the truth.
I've always avoided raped scene cause I hate it I don't want to know how the victim must gone through. It hurts me so bad cause it's truly terrible and no one should have gone through something like. I'm crying rn, please give him a dead ending and torture him more more than yogyeol.
