I'm pretty sure my first manga was One Piece back in middle school (for a time frame of reference I just graduated college). I borrowed my friends. The first one I ever bought was literally a random one I pulled off the shelf at The book shelf. I think it was called DN Angel or something.

I was about around 13 at the time. I had been watching anime for a while and got curious about manga. If I am remembering it correctly, my first manga was called "Cherry Boy, That Girl"

I was in fourth grade and my older sister was borrowing a manga series from her friend and she let me read them when she was finished. I think it was called Ceres Celestial Legend.

Not totally sure about first manga, but my first anime was Inuyashi when I was 5 or 6. Then I forgot about it till sixth grade when I rediscovered anime by searching for "show with man in red suit and dog ears". (BTW I tried this again and suit had to be changed to kimono to even get two pictures of Inuyasha to show up).

When i was 11 or so and the first manga i ever read was a shoujo manga. It's name was kaichou wa maid sama.

I was 15, crazy about Twilight stuff and when I saw Rosario+Vampire at the library, I decided to read (I didn't even know it's from right to left and some parts didn't make sense till I noticed) LOL

I grew up with siblings who read manga so I don't remember specific manga that I could've read for the first time. I know that I really liked Yu-Gi-Oh and Slam Dunk back then.

my sister made me read Naruto when i was really little. the first one i bought was at a local con for like 5$ for two, it was loveless and some other weird manga i cant remember.
ones that i actually picked that were my favorite were probably bakuman because i reaaaaaaaaallllllllly wanted to be a manga artist growing up, i thought it was a cute story but the straight was too strong, and the two guys working together was cute and all but... i liked the girl better. i got into no.6 after that then it lead to my obsession with fiction and queer romance. what was yours birb?

i also picked it up because i liked death note at the time

I don't usually socialize, and I get totally withdrawn when I meet new people at times, so I sort of understand. But there's some people who make you feel at ease and give you space to be yourself, when you meet someone who makes you comfortable you should try to get to know them I guess (⌒▽⌒)

When I'm down or sad i usually go to youtube and watch just for laugh gags, play games, browse random things

..... to be honest, there is no advice in this entire world that can give you the right words you'd like to hear about this bird, unless their sugar coating their shit and all... but back on subject, the only thing for you to be happy right now, is just let the past STAY the past and stop looking down, start looking up (I'm being serious here...) because I've noticed that when you look down, you don't really see the colors that surround you outside...you don't really see the "change" in colors.... once you've spent some time just watching the colors differ, you'll find something else hidden there. Maybe courage? Maybe an opportunity? Shoot, maybe a thought that'd keep you laughing or crying...It really various by fate and remember everyone and anyone can find love if they stop looking down, but start looking up and overcome their chains~ for an example, I'm still fighting my chains that pulls and yanks me everyday, but I don't stop fighting because I know I'm fighting, for me...Now the question is bird.... are you willing to stand up and fight for yourself?

make sure add the mangas onto your "want to read" "reading" or "already read" so that it's easier to find later in case you wanna go re-read it again :) also helps when you ask for manga rec so people can check your already read (if they have the time lol) so they wont rec the same mangas to you. das about it

I would suggest organizing your mangas as you read them. You can add tags, bookmark pages, and create lists. You'll find these things if you go to your Homepage. If you keep on top of this kind of stuff, it's easier to go back and find things when you want it, instead of having to search through 200+ mangas for something that you only partially remember.

Also, if you have any questions about mangas, never hesitate to ask on the board here. There will be trolls every once and a while, but overall everyone here is pretty nice and does their best to be helpful.

If you don't have any pop-up blocker type software on your computer (if you look in your browser's settings sometimes it will already have that type of stuff automatically), I'd suggest downloading it so that this site will not take you to other pages quite as often. It's not too bad if you are logged in, but it can still happen from time to time.
