I’m honestly so tired of the ukes being treated like their this “naive inexperienced boy like figure” and the seme is some macho sex machine etc. like some of these are funny but not sexually all of them? I feel like this ain’t realistic ( it’s bl I can’t expect it to be) but yeah.
I have to say this is like one of the most realistic deviations of how teenagers feel, often times in mangas - we only see the charters that matter and how they’re interaction with the MC or ML affect them in that moment or as a backstory.
But in this, it’s so consistent! Like this exactly how high schoolers think, no one is a saint - you don’t love people blindly ( most of the time) and especially when you come from a upper class background, your company is a way to maintain that social life you know, so you strive towards being at the “top”
I genuinely like this manwha so much! It does a fantastic job at depicting the hesitation of being a teenager and how much classroom politics affects students. It looks like it shouldn’t matter, but that idgaf attitude will only happen if you’re strong - whether physically or socially.
I don’t endorse any of this, I don’t believe class should be important etc, I’m a socialist and all. But this manwha does a great job at telling us through the characters about woes of society in a digestible and uncomfortable manner.
I know it’s a BL story about two complex complex youngsters who can’t be honest with themselves but this is great.

I heard the author’s reworking Abyss - basically giving us more of a story, I hope they do the same for this short too, I want a deeper dive into this plot - it’s so interesting ( minus the rape) I wannna see like a psychological thriller down out do this. Mc doesn’t even need to have a partner.
I hope the author like understands our ‘needs’ telepathically and like gives us SOMETHING with the king and MC, I wish there was a sense of surprise with these things man -it’s set in stone if there’s a specific person on the cover but what if - WHAT IF I WANT MORE - omg please give em an AU or something together - ONG, I’m going to loose my mind.
Bro the size difference wasn’t this bad - what happened in like 2 chapters? It was there but at least a little realistic but wtf is that peepee - oh my god, that’s a rod.
