Don't read this before going to bed because you won't be able to put it down. The character and story development *chef's kiss*. This manga is such a rare gem and I feel lucky that I picked it up. (Decided to buy all the chaps in tappytoon for giving me such a worthwhile read)
I think part of what's stopping Seung Ho from believing Nakyum didn't run away was exactly that... "why didn't Nakyum run away?" What does it imply if Nakyum was actually gonna stay by his side even after he confessed his feelings? Why did the passed out Nakyum call out "My lord" as if he wants Seung Ho to come save him? I think Seung Ho's scared of acknowledging the idea that Nakyum knows he likes him but is still actually willing to "be with him" and finds him as a safe haven. That's why he's persisting on asking Nakyum to give him a reason as to why he didn't run. I'm hoping things won't fully go back to square one again, but I'm not as pissed about it as others cuz it makes sense why Seung Ho is being stubborn af about this. Not saying I like it but it'll be strange if he just automatically accepted the idea that after he confessed, Nakyum still wanted to stay by his side.
