I think it’s now it starting to get interesting. Before it was all forced because haeil is forcing himself to act all innocent just to not scare hyeso. Now he actually revealing his true self

i think you misunderstood me, i think the trope is being forced overall in the latest chapter especially gives plot driven writing, i’ve read like three or four other orca fics and they all literally have the same trope..mentally ill orca that’s hella dangerous even towards mc

I think it might be because orcas are THE apex predators. They kill other apex predators for fun. But the execution can be better.

dolphin fairy is one i remember, it’s great actually because there’s three sets of couples with three stories so two dolphins and one orca, the orca by that author has the same vibes and he’s hit as fuckkk

I think it's because some orca are just built like that and they author might consume or researching alot on the Transient Orca/Bigg's (eat other mammals both smaller n big, they even see Resident Orca as another source of food, basically a menace to society) rather than the Resident one (the docile only eating salmon, ur friendly big neighbour) when they try to make the character based on Orca. So, the story could have a similiar pattern especially if there's like a power/size gap that is quite big like Haeil n Hyeseo, the orca one could activate their instinct and think like a predator thus the trope become like this(≧∀≦)

But, this is just how i think as i'm just starting my journey to learn more about orca. ALSO THANK YOU SM FOR RECCOMENDING THE OTHER FIC ヾ(☆▽☆) i will definitely put it in my reading list!
