"Rich and powerful" doesn't make them bulletproof. I mean, someone was insane enough to shoot at Trump. If it wasnt for the insane timing of his head tilt he would be dead by now. Not to mention all they had to do was recruit a dominant omega to incapacitate Grayson to cleanly aim that barrel on his forehead point blank. And considering he goes around doing his thing without guards and the fact that he doesn't seem to understand that he's in danger, he's actually an easier prey than Chase.

People who have lost all they care for isn't scared of imprisonment, torture, or death. All they care for is the fact that they got their revenge. And again, if we follow this omegaverse AU logic, Omegas are capable enough to murder those dominant Alphas. In fact, Betas can straight up massacre them simply because they are unaffected by their pheromones.
If you're not convinced by that, just remember that royals were viewed as divine beings in the past. The common people literally feared royal members. And people still murdered them left and right.

And the people who say that phrase "Because he's a Miller" in this "If You Can" novels is because they are scared of imprisonment, torture and death (punishments for hurting a Miller from Ashley Miller and Nathaniel Miller) so if someone hasn't done it is because I guess their fear is stronger than their resentment, simple as that
