I hope that Maxi can develop herself further with a bit of space. There are so many emotions in Riftan which he never got tought to express nor to handle, he ain't knowing much about women but how to take care of a kingdom. Him crying with Maxi was most likely just a little bit of what is on his mind. Plus with Maxi constantly disobeying he feels helpless and frustrated and he gotta learn how to be a husband just like Maxi needs to learn being a wife is not always just getting her will but considering and trusting her husband.... Even tho it's hard atm for many reasons. So yea distance is good, let's hope some time alone helps Riftan to clears his head.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Yeah, I agree, I think the separation will allow them both to get used to being without one another 24/7, and I genuinely feel sorry for both Maxi and Riftan, because it's clear they struggle and each other is their safety nets, so without it, it kind of feels like they're drowning, but I have to respect that Riftan knew she wasn't going to back down about Nornui, so he told her if she kept the back and forth trying to love him while trying to leave, he wouldn't be able to let her go, so as much as it's a shitty thing ignoring each other, I think it'll be easier in the long run for both of them to process their emotions privately without having to worry about the other constantly.
