a lot of readers here make recommandation lists or reading list on their wall, you can also follow recommandation/reading lists of other people and you can then start to explore :-) there is a lot of other tropes than BL.
you can start by clicking on the picture of my profile (my absence of picture lol. the grey square.) and that will give you access to my personnal wall >> then you can see my list below my "want to read / reading / read" >> if you click "lists" you will see my whole lists (I made 33 reading lists :-) and then you can see and click "followed" and you will access the 150+ lists that I have followed :-D ) I have found a lot of lists that aren't BL at all. Still best the way it is , on this site it's easier to find any type of yaoi through tags and only yaois shows up in tags as well so it's convenient for a yaoi reader like me.
