The webtoon’s writing is so incompetent for this ending. Forcing a romance with Erez makes no sense when his past-life magic was just a business agreement with the Duke, not done out of care or consent for Keira. Meanwhile, Sir Joseph—the only one who truly loved and died for her—is trapped as the Knight Vice-Captain, forced to watch them together. Leaving him as a heartbroken background bodyguard completely ruins the story’s emotional weight just to push a flashy trope.
