The plot is only misunderstanding. Once that's done everything's over. This story has only two-three settings. The work or eating in restaurant or sex in bed. That's it. There is no setting of them talking, going some place no nada. They don't talk, they don't have any emotional connection, there is genuinely nothing. They don't even vent out their emotions or fears.
