Where's all this hate for the ML coming from? Weren't they both drugged? Didn't he try to leave? Did no one notice that the ML was definitely attempting to keep the MC solidly in the friend zone? I know that I have definitely been in similar situations and definitely wanted to just remain friends.

The amount of misunderstanding in this story is absolutely mind-blowing and also pretty funny. I can't help but wonder how the main character will react when he finds out about the assumption the love interest is making.
