He's highkey a coward. Not saying that's a fatal flaw, but he doesn't stand up for himself, inconsistently stands up for Sarang, but will lie if confronted about his feelings for her, and generally has no spine. Imo, he's not really a compelling character, but realistic for sure.

I don't think anybody is brushing it, it's definitely a fucked up situation. It genuinely made me sick when I got that part. Also it's interesting that she seems to relatively live a good life, she has a nice house, nice brother(not sure about the parents), has money, talent and has friends. But she still naively fell for the teacher and got groomed, AND even turned into a bully. I think the author just wanted to highlight how subin is rlly just a naive innocent kid who loves attention and being perceived as different. It's realistic in a way.. despite how fucked up it is. Just rlly hoping nothing ever happened though. But I wouldn't be surprised if something did happen with how sick this story is..
