I think there's no need to marinate, unless you want to wait until it's finished... As for whether it's good, it's worth a read, but not super great, in my opinion. Like it's mostly plot focused, but the plot is all over the place lol. But the concept is interesting

At the moment the story is all over the place with a lot going on, but it all comes together beautifully at the end. Everything. Even the things said in passing, even jokes all carry snipers of the actual story. But you do have to endure until the end. The adaptation isn't very good, the novel is very good tho.

Would you recommend reading the novel instead then? Or more of a read both type thing? Also, I've never actually read any novels that these webtoons/mangas/manwhas seem to be based on. Is there a site for them similar to this one?

I definitely recommend reading this one. It starts off goofy and all over the place. But I was surprised how well absolutely everything had a meaning and came together well in the end.
There might be a site, but I don't know. I just googled it. There is no official English translation, so it's easier to find fan translations.

I'm also not a big reader of such novels, but as it turns out, if it gets a manga adaptation and if the adaptation is good (publisher is willing to spend more money on a better artist), then the source is probably good and has a big fan base. If it has anime or dorama - then definitely good. (For example "the master of demonic cultivation" or "the apothecary diaries").

Ohh that makes sense. It's kinda the same with manga/webtoons being popular enough for an anime I guess. Tho if there isn't an official translation of the novel yet I'll probs go for the this then hehe. Especially cause people seem to quite like it despite the confusion/ the plot being all over the place (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)

Not all fan translations are bad. Some are very good, done with more care and attention to cultural translation than the official ones. Also, some authors and in general talented people (in literary writing and language) do translations as a hobby.

I read Regas in the translation of Lil Valley. It was good. Good English.

She gets better but that is pretty much how she is shes a very petty god. They explain why she is obsessed pretty well and they add in an extra mystery going on. they also spend a lot of time explaining various characters so its not all her.
