Mc developed stockholm syndrome and decided to go back to that mf after 5 years of freedom. Tho that mf is anxious 24/7 after he came back, its never enough. And what flowers? Bullshit, he can eat his flowers and choke to die hahaha I’m so mad I wanna enter the novel and kill the king

Btw, Dam-i didn't comeback because he developed stockholm syndrome... Mok-young developed an obsessive "love" over Dam-i that's why he spent 5 years obsessively searching for him. Dam-i lived a fugitive life. His existence outside the palace was constantly threatened by Mok-young because he was afraid he'd find him (which eventually he did). He basically went back because life on the run had taken a mental toll on him since he knew he'd never obtain freedom as long as Mok-young was around. Never once in the main story, did Dam-i ever reciprocate Mok-young's feelings or affections regardless of how hard he tried to make amends. The only time he did so was when he had to feign affection in order to plot the downfall of Mok-young. In the penultimate chapter, Mok-young asks Dam-i, "Let me ask one last thing. Even once. Was there never a single moment when you wanted to forgive me? Even once, did your heart never beat for me?" Then Dam-i responds, " No. Not once. Never". I think the main story did a good job in not making Dam-i the stereotypical uke who ends up falling in love with the seme despite all the pain and suffering inflicted upon him, regardless of the "redemption arc". Plus, it portrayed the most heart-wrenching depiction of PTSD caused by sexual violence.
Oh right, I remember that part. Its the part after dami got caught because of that monk in chapter 1 (manhwa). He got locked and pampered in the palace and the dami is so uncomfortable (my poor boy). As along as that mf is around he’s not calm until the rebellion happened and dami’s younger brother died. Then dami poisoned himseld and the king got traumatize so he let go of dami, he was like “take as much time as you want, when you return, I will always be here” daming eme lintek tanga naman (sorry a slip of language) anyway, so 5 years have passed before dami returned to him again.
The flowers is the side story, the king always give flowers to dami, every morning he always go to visit dami to check if he ran away also to give the flowers (flowers are different everyday as proof that its chosen the patron himself.
The wording is wrong (flowers color and type is different everyday as proof that its chosen by one patron alone, the fucker king himself)
