This is probably gonna b a disjointed stream of consciousness but whatever lol
I understand there needs to be some sort of catalyst for a confrontation with the grandpa but I really hope this angst doesn’t last all season
Seasons r usually between 30-40 episodes and I can’t imagine doing this bs for that long
I feel like the reason this season feels so icky is cuz we’re not getting Haebom’s POV so we don’t really know his motivations so it feels bad, like it feels like he genuinely doesn’t care about Taesung, I highly doubt that’s the case but it feels that way
I also think everything Haebom has said is all bs, he’s just throwing whatever he can out there in an attempt to push Taesung away cuz he knows Taesung won’t give him up so he’s trying to make Taesung hate him
I’m trying to withhold my judgment until we get like a flashback of what happened to Haebom and what he’s being threatened with but I’m gonna need the reason to b good
The only thing that makes sense is Taesung’s life being threatened, like a guilt trip won’t cut it cuz Taesung has never expressed wanting children or anything else, he’s actually expressed very clearly that he would literally give up anything and everything as long as he has Haebom
I’m still thinking maybe granpa had something to do with Haebom’s parents deaths cuz that would add validity to whatever kind of threats he made
I’m gonna need lots of fluff and sweetness later in this season to make up for all the angst lol
Sooo I’m assuming Taesung has a plan, like I don’t think he’s gonna roll over and accept his fate
I would hope that the girl is in the know about what’s going on, at least somewhat
Taesung received his grandmas shares in the company from her will so maybe he’s going to trick granpa into giving him majority shares? Sell company out from underneath him or something like that?
If gramps has no money he can’t pay goons to assault Haebom
Maybe red head will turn against gramps, kill him and then red head will go to jail?
During chapter when Taesung had the shard of glass he said something along the lines of he can’t end it like this without trying (not exact words lol) so I assume he’s not just giving up
