Dang, when I decide to read mangas again and this is the kind of story I read? I mean it's good and fluffy but that specific line on chap3 thrown me off guard ╥﹏╥ I get that it meant to cheer the person up but it could've been said in a different way right? Like "If I where single, I’d still say this: you’re someone who’s easy to care about.” something like that right?
I never read the previous prequel since I only knew this sequel in other social media promoting it (heck I didn't even know there was a prequel). I read that the seme's personality is a bit of a bright personality to those around them and tactless in some areas. In the uke's perspective, it should've impact him because he knows it creates trouble afterwards and it also made me feel uncomfortable. In the end, it could've been a translation thing since not all words can be translated similarly to it's own language, I'm just glad it turn out to be fluffy ( though even though reading it after chap3, that line stayed on my mind for awhile lol)
I had to re read the early chapters because I clearly remembered the ML said something to the MC that insinuated that he was just a "bed mate" be for real now... And I can't forgive the fact that when the ML hangs out with his so called friends he just let them talk bad about MC, girl, you love him yet you let them do that?

This story was a rollercoaster, even as I read more chapters, my worries keep piling on and on (I even got a stomachache on how much stress I experienced lol). Anyway, the art was good and depiction of each characters was also good (though some are not fleshed out so much). But unlike in the novel, the creator of this manhwa/manhua didn't do so much well in depicting the MC's emotional turmoil well and towards the end it felt too fast paced.
If you want a story with misunderstanding as a major plot, you'll like this. And if you want a more satisfying chasing arc I suggest you read the novel.
