I adore Inés but tolerate Carcel. I do hope he gets his happy ending but tbh, I only read for Inés in the hopes that she will be happy in the end. Ngl, for a while I wished that she would be reunited with Emiliano because their story makes my heart hurt everytime I read it
I don't think the ml is a cheater or anything because what he did can't be classified as cheating but i just couldn't if I were in mc's situation. I'm more irritated by his audacity to get jealous while whoring around and the hesitation to cut his partners off made me shake my head. I kinda sorta really want ml to get a taste of his own medicine but that's just my personal preference.
I can't wrap my head around how ml could sleep around with people and assume it's fine because it's 'just sex' while clearly being infatuated with mc to the point of jealousy but what I'm more confused about how mc could do easily let that slide and keep the relationship going.
Still, I'm glad their relationship is improving and I really am enjoying the writing so bravo to the author, and I will be continuing this purely because of the detective stuff and I kinda hope the ex comes back because he is VERY much my type and just having him on screen was a delight.
If you don't mind manwhore tops I could not recommend more. I do hope the main couple ends up happy and this is from a person who usually only reads these stories in the hopes that the ml will be left absolutely RUINED by the mc

I was half surprised to see that uke and I have the same personality type but I should've known since he acts like me when I was severely depressed because I acted uncannily like him (I'm better now obviously)
