It started cute but the middle part is kinda boring and they rushed the development at the end
Considering they only have 5 chapters and 1 extra. I'd say they did a good job. ( I do wish this was longer bc I love them sm)

there is so much unnecessary drama going on created by just the mc and too much flashback that took most of the chapters
Im kinda confuse if cecil is also chase child how come pete and her look omly 1 to 2 years apart but in kiss me noe pete is 5 or 6y so if they have child again the age vap should be farther
Pete in KMIYC 6-7 years? He is more like ~3 years old. Cecil is younger than Spence.
I was confused as well. Probably some timeline confusion by the adaption team
