I don't disagree with dropping it because I think this reincarnation arc is stupid but I don't think you understand what's happening.
The ML very obviously remembers his past life. It becomes more and more obvious that he remembers and has always remembered. He is devoted his entire life to serving this modern Ahjin Even though Ahjin didn't remember him and didn't see him romantically at all.
This is actually the ultimate chasing arc.
The ML is incredibly intelligent and ambitious, could have easily become a millionaire company owner in the modern world but he didn't. He sacrificed his entire life and lives only to serve someone with the same name and face as his dead lover.
Ahjin of this world is a spoiled rich kid with no responsibilities who is basically an abusive boss. He makes the ML do all of his work and basically run the whole business while also handling all of his personal affairs. He's not some big boss guy, he's very much a spoiled child whose secretary does everything because his secretary is in love with him from his past life.
Why does it feel like this story is missing pages or is it really just like that?
Why can't the MC just give up or show restraint towards his feelings with the ML hays
Please have a chasing arc and daughter/son hinding please please make him regret and chase
