lwk forgot what the plot is abt.. can anyone summarize it for me ╥﹏╥
suryeons an opp from the start. she been tryna take down all the ppl who'd come between her and taking over Baekyoon Company. shes killed Jitae's Mom, had her son sexually abused and drug abused, almost killed her father all to take over. now Jitae remains her only obstacle n shes doing everything to defame him. she killed Go Hajoon because he lost his nametag at the crime scene when they killed Jitae's Mom (probs more to this but im not sure if told). Mi-eum who witnessed Jitae's Moms death personally collected the nametag as proof when leaving the crime scene but Suryeon doesnt know about it, its why Jitae is going above and beyond to keep Mi-eum safe and protected at home. So far, thats all I've figured. Also that Jin and Jian like eachother but Jians sa trauma causes a lot of rifts between them.
to add on, currently, were seeing that Jitae has a plan on to take down Suryeon but he hinted that it could take atleast 5 years. so out of pity (?) he told Jin to run away with Jian and leave the country til then so that both of them ar protected and far away from Suryeons madness. Mi-eum was going to turn himself in (if im not wrong) for witnessing Jitae's Mom die and th fact he witnessed Suryeon do it as well as hand in the nametag, but i think hes let that idea go due to this chapter showing Jitae is vulnerable without Mi-eum beside him.
Did Suryeon kill Hajoon or Jitae? I got the impression that Jitae sent a hitman or smth after him

I think that it was Suryeon because when Jitae got taken into custody, Suryeon watched n smirked so it gave me the idea that she had this planned. But because Jitae also figured what shes been trying to do, he played along by telling the "investigator" he'll spend on night in jail - probably to let Suryeon think shes winning but he defo has a plan in place.
Oh alright, thnx! Yeah now that I think about it it’d make more sense if Jitae doesn’t do anything illegal/criminal and let’s Suryeon and the others do that as much bad stuff as possible so they can slip up and add onto their criminal record (and let’s them think they can pin it on him & that they’re winning so he can hit them with the biggest plot twist surprise)
