I get this is yaoi and all, but come on. Romantic? Sungho is being creepy as fuck! He sounds like a psycho stalker rapist. Which... he is. I'm pretty sure the dialogue about "being together forever" is meant to be uncomfortable and terrifying, not sweet. Don't care how cute he was as a kid, Sungho needs to get what's coming to him.

I remember seeing a preview on killer whale's twitter where Sungho had Doyhun tied up (I'm going to guess it's coming up soonish and I would link you but it's so far back...if you look through their photos on twitter I'm sure you'll find it). So don't worry. The creepiness should be back momentarily. (⊙…⊙ ) And tbt, I was also completely weirded out by this "romantic" scene. For me, the weirdness came from taking what Sungho said literally. He's never planning on letting Doyhun go. He'll keep Doyhun tied up in that room the rest of his life if Sungho knows it will mean he will be there. That thought alone is super scary for me.

I got nothing more than creepy from that last scene. But the one's where they were younger? I found them really endearing. Thoughts?

Yeah, that was what I thought, too - Sungho isn't being romantic, he's being threatening. He's totally twisted, and he doesn't ever intend to release Dohyun. And so far, (adult) Dohyun has done nothing but reject Sungho time and time again, but if anything, it just made Sungho more possessive of him. Don't get me wrong, I like the story BECAUSE it's dark and twisted. I was just a little surprised to see so many people in the comments call it romantic, when the reality of Sungho's words is so messed up. And not to mention Dohyun's thoughts right now, who woke with a blur of memories of Sungho literally strangling him (which probably happened like only an hour or two ago).

I agree that the flashbacks are very endearing, and that makes them such a stark contrast to what's happening now. Young Sungho and Dohyun both are really adorable. The juxtaposition of those scenes in the violent present day is interesting. We're not even seeing the darker, depressing scenes from the past right now - like the scenes last season where young Sungho was going crazy and feeling like Dohyun was only using him for sex. It's happy, cute scenes. I'm really wondering how "bad" the day at the end of the diary was (presumably the day Dohyun cut ties with Sungho), and when we will find out what the heck happened.

    Love. Every. Bit. Of. It.

I admit, I'm in for the thrill, not the romance. But we have that kind of person in every fandom that romanticised violence and jerk off to that. Always. Just look at Killing Stalking, or Hannibal. Lol
