Plus the fact that they aren't engaging in the act, which usually helps the other person to catch feelings rather quickly isn't there either. So like his feelings do seem a bit teenh tiny quick developing but ykw, they have been living together for a long time (like if we count after mc came out of military, they still spent quite a long time together) so im guessing that made the feelings come together in the first place
