ITS HEREEEEEEE, I js wanna say I love gsgw and i hope that this adaptation is good? Or at least decent, I don’t want to have too much expectations that I might accidentally disappoint myself later on. BUT, I really want gsgw to be more known and I hope this adaptation helps
Also, with the manhwa release, chances are that part 3 of the novel will might come out soon so thank heavens for this
I read up to chapter 450 of the novel and I dropped it because my imagination is lowkey wack (also because the translations are garbage). Every time a performance happens in the story, I imagine the members doing some random stuff like the macarena or the cupid shuffle (its so bad for me). Music is hard to imagine whenever Raebin talks about arrangements and stuff, I try to listen to Kpop to help imagine but then the TeStar members will just act like they can’t perform
I’m currently reading the novel rn and I found out that the original Idol Inc group that debuted. S-Tier, the one without the same age group (moondae, sejin, and ahyeon), disbanded from the og timeline and I lowkey feel sad bc the novel said that the only people performing were Ryu Chungwoo, Raebin, and Eugene. Lee Saejin A left due to his father’s issues and the other two members left due to incompatibility within the group. So it was just those 3 on stage.
Moondae/Ryu Gunwoo was watching them perform until the 5 year contract ended since he finds the 3 of them in a similar situation to himself. Because they worked earnestly to the end despite their falling popularity and mishaps within the group. Makes me realize that TeStar’s lineup was the better choice oml
I remember reading this back in like 2019 and I thought the art was so pretty and unique compared to the others at the time, its like a fairy tale. Not saying its not unique now, but I realized that more historical/fantasy manhwas coming out by the year, the standard of what is considered “good manhwa art” goes up.
I really like how some of the panels within this manhwa look vibrant and glowy whenever cute interactions occur with the other. I don’t know if its the nostalgia influencing my thought but I really love spoon’s artstyle.
In most stories, the protagonists who say “I want to be a background character” or “I don’t want to be apart of the plot” usually ends up playing a crucial part of said plot by doing extravagant things like saving someone, having some rare power, showing off their intelligence, inventing something, etc.
But the MC in this story actually tries to be a background character. And he’s doing it realistically at that. Like he’s just following what every other person in the room does. He acts oblivious when he needs to (phone call chapter), talks about information when the “plot” needs it (resolving misunderstandings), attends parties like everyone else. He’s just normal (in a good way), he made himself not stand out by NOT going out of the norm and I just find that about him to be realistic.
(If I ever happen to find myself in a predicament like getting transported to a different world or waking as a character in a novel. I would for sure act like him no doubt.)
(i got this info off of a forum so i could be wrong)/
Ok so basically, Ralph, the ML, is also revealed to have multiple lives just like FL. However, unlike Lisette who is reborn 4 times, Ralph is continuously reborn.
FL in her first life time had also saved the ML in his first life 500 years ago (the start of his interest). One of the key phrases that he remembered that FL said in her first life was “It’s ok to live for yourself a little.” So when she said it again in her current life as Lisette, it clued him into realizing that’s the same lady who saved him in his first life. In Lisette’s third life, they met again, the ML at the time was a soldier, she also told him about her circumstances about dying before the age of 20. The ML realized that it was her, so in his third life, he died protecting her.
So his goal since then was to save her as long as he lived.
I don’t know what happened during the days she was captured. But she insisted on helping to get rid of the demon that’s haunting her, but Ralph refused. So he subtly had her drink something which made her lose consciousness. And as she was unconscious, Ralph got rid of the demon.
So she woke up past her 20th birthday, and realized that her saintess powers came back. And Ralph was like injured so she saved him. After that, they confessed to each other and had their happily ever after

Rereading this story after part 1 and 2 of the novel and seeing all the stuff that you didn’t notice before even though the information is right in front of you feels crazy
