It’s genuinely unethical though, jeopardizing the life of one to save another is giving more importantance to one life compared to another, it’s literally against the Hippocrate pledge.
This is clearly poor plot building, the only way this would make sense if it was revealed the doctor was a quack. You can’t call someone do scent stabilization with a condom, she just “recommends it”. Everything this doctor does is horrible for everyone but her.
