I want to read it BUT I'm unsure I'll enjoy it. Given the character that Xinlu embodies in the og just turns me OFF. Like I'm not about two faced people lol. I feel as though the reason I like the main couple is because their personality and traits are listed out to you on a silver platter while Xinlu coerced Tay into sleeping with him and ended up pushing him away. Seems interesting though ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I summon the Xinlu fans who can explain his character properly, I'm not really in the mood to happily Yap too much about the domesticated wild cat. But ye, that's one of the point for me, he had character development bc of the love Yuri provided. Just think of an aggressive cat that didn't like you at first, then over time the cat start softening and lowering it guard around you. Well if you aren't a cat lover then that example isn't much helpful
Lowkey love coming back to this and re reading it. Goes to show that a good story doesn't need an overwhelming amount of smut and suggestive themes. Very fluffy and cute!
Tried searching how old Eve is, and funny enough... IT IS NEVER MENTIONED, ONCE! So for all those saying that his age compensates for his looks are wrong, Eve looks and ACTS like a child. It is a disgusting manga, especially given that the manga is 90% uncomfortable sex scenes. Wanted to revisit a recommended list that I lowkey never touched when looking for manga, saw this and felt disgusted after the first chapter. I wanted to hear out other people after looking at the comments and couldn't get past anymore. This feels like kink material. Wouldn't recommend.

No I did read past I believe chapter 20, avoided the smut scenes as best I could. I wanted to give it a chance after asking about it in the comments prior and everyone said to just keep reading as it would get better. But in my opinion it never did so I dropped it. I don't understand why the artist didn't just give Eve his other design. Thanks for being open to hear me out, I got flamed before I posted a comment similar to this and had to delete it. Well to be fair, the characters are in an unspecified time period, given that rules and customs differ, the drinking age could be lower such as the legal age to drink in Australia is 18 while in the US it is 21. You just don't know, I just don't like how it is unspecified that's all.

he does end up growing mentally.. but it's only after a few 40 chapters or so... alot of that growth happens through smut too. :')

I've been in psychology for a bit now, and to those who say that Kael was a little bitch boy for not doing anything. Within someone's peripheral nervous systems, automatic sympathetic, we have a flight or fight response, basically our bodies natural initiate in a stressful situation. Seeing Kaels complex character, we could assume that his response throughout the entire relationship between his brothers torment was neither fight nor flight but in the middle, freezing. He is helpless in that situation as it is a trauma response based on how we see him interact with Ian. in reality it takes a very LONG time to get over this response as it is a coping mechanism.
