Glass Wall
Do NOT let the rating fool you. The angst was solid, and the romance was PAINFUL. Although the MC was lowkey for the streets, she saw her path with the ML through til the end. The only things I wished to see more of were trauma and their kid. I know that neither the MC or ML had a perfect childhood, but damn, where were the controversial triggers other than self-deletion??? It's a 3.5 .
How to Be a Dark Hero’s Daughter
When the Villainess Loves
Turned into trash halfway through. Omfffffg. Let me just go ahead and tell you... the ML is NOT worthy of the ML role. His character is okay in some parts, but overall? They shoulda scraped him and stored him in the depths of a private folder in OneDrive. UGH. I just don't... I CAN'T like him. I fr cannot bring myself to like him. Cain on the other hand? LOVE HIM. His backstory was explained at surface level, but his emotions are so real and valid. I really dig the fact that he has a soft boy vibe going on while being gloomy and level-headed. I COULD WRITE AN ESSAY OVER THIS MF. I do not lie. DO NOT PLAY about Cain.<333 +2 stars for Cain alone.
Miss Not-So Sidekick
The authors ate the comedy UP in this one. The art and expression were fantastic. It kept me wanting more. However, some parts were lost in the sauce. We didn't get a good feel for Rondemio (Crowned Prince). At the end, we see the result of him and Ibelin, but we don't really get any insight on what went down between them. Also, the ending of the actual manhwa was really rushed, like, even Latte thought it was moving fast. This is really just a good comedy read if you're not too big on romance.
The Twin Siblings’ New Life
This honestly doesn't even deserve a star. Apparently, this was supposed to be a story about two twins breaking the shackles that their abusive mother bound them with. However, it turned into a load of garbage. We gradually lose sight of the male twin and focus entirely on the female. To add insult to injury, she marries their guardian spirit, which is mostly her bro's guardian... so it's like marrying her brother. She wasn't even excited for the guardian to begin with; her twin was. Yet, she became the guardian's priority and clearly didn't care enough about what her bro wanted. Even when he was lonely, she heard him say that he was happy if she was happy and went on doing nonsense. Everyone knows that, when someone says that they're okay, it doesn't mean they're actually okay.
Concentration of Malice
Eh. It was ight. MC ruined so many lives just to get her revenge on the Duke. The side story wasn't satisfactory in my opinion. I wish the side story involved Julie finding someone who accepted and loved her. The Prince going back in time to be with MC was unnecessary since she was happily married in the main story. 2 stars.
In This Life, I Will Raise You Well, Your Majesty!
This one dragged, and the concept is what you'd expect from the title. FL is hardly girlbossing it.
The Baby Isn't Yours
That grown man looking baby. Also, the ML is too obsessive. He hunted her down against her wishes and tried to ease his way into the baby's life. I wish he hadn't known about the baby until she came back from her leave. Smh. Kinda disappointed.
