Jaekyung’ll so gonna lose the next match, dump all his anger on Dan maybe even get physical cause the author CLEARLY is not afraid to go there, Dan gonna get heartbroken and left his ass, JK’ll stay in denial for a while longer maybe even f**k someone else, then either something will happen to Dan that need JK’s “help” or boy’s gonna miss that booty so much he will passive aggresively ask for Dan’s forgiveness. I said ask not beg cause evidently Dan will jump back into this abusive mess the moment JK shows affection towards him. All in all, textbook case, I will only check for the hole destroyed scenes.

I think people should be more sympathetic towards him considering how he got to this point. His first love since highschool was a traumatized Taesoo who kept playing cat and mouse with him because neither damn of them knew how to navigate relationship properly. He then got traumatized and developed stockholm syndrome, falling into limbo with a love that will lead nowhere, never got that official boyfriend status so he couldn’t define what being one and having one was like. He was also timid in his own way and not quite sociable. He had no experience. Ho-in on the other hand had, and he pursued Chunwoo while he was in that mess with Taesoo. Did Chunwoo string him along? Yes and he felt so guilty about it he ended the fwb thingy with Ho-in the first time. They also made it clear to each other from the start that being fwb was all that it was. Did Chunwoo have strong feelings for Ho-in and began to struggle against Taesoo’s pull? Yes that’s why he couldn’t take the separation and take Ho-in back. Did Chunwoo cheat? No because Ho-in hadn’t even asked him out yet, only after Chunwoo ran to his house. And what he did with Taesoo was depicted more as a fight rather than sex, the author was right in how they portrayed the situation. “You only come to me for sex” mindset was driven into Chunwoo’s brain by Taesoo so he retaliated by inflicting the same treatment onto him. Mind you Chunwoo went through all this expecting nothing from Ho-in but despise and hate. If not for Ho-in still wanting to be with him he would’ve ran away from his life altogether. The outcome was a guilt-stricken Chunwoo and a deeply insecured Ho-in but mostly because of the circumstances they were put in. Ho-in fell in love too hard and too fast, much faster than Chunwoo could do. He eventually did catch up but the damage was done. The current arc was him being dumb but that’s to be expected from a person whose whole love history was a situationship and a tumultuous continuing one since college. Again, the man had serious self-depreciating issues he couldn’t even ask his boyfriend to be rough with him. Cut him some slack, he’s much better than the mcs who are properly functioned adults and still did the same/worse shit than he did.

but this manga is a gay-to-straight romanticization. The bi father who CHEATED on his partner and left him the moment he realized he could have a traditional family. The straight son who tried to reciprocate his BFF's feelings for YEARS and ultimately THE GAY FRIEND had to break it off. Realistic? Yes. But 2 stories with similar elements in one series, within one family? Nah... This manga is seriously one of the many relics from the past that I hope no one tries to replicate in modern works.
