Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai
Just perfection. Yoneda Kou did an amazing job narrating this story. The emotions are fresh, as if they were yours. They are real, the anguish, hurt and the human fear of loneliness are so real. Characters feel like people, everything they do is raw and exposed for us to see. It's shedded off of authors opinions or preferences like a dead snakes skin. It's just such a greatly raw story.
The sex scenes are there only when they need to be, and they give you so much everytime. And most importantly: When there is no need for an explicit scene there is NONE. Portraying sex in bl, especially in more serious ones, is important to me since so many have a romanticized view of it. That's not bad all in all, but I appreciate authors who hold back on the "smuttiness" for the sake of the story. And this is a wonderful one. Heartbreaking but just wonderful
