It was never a romance tbh. But problem I have with this unlike with like KS that here abuse just doesn’t have any point it’s just here to be. It’s not psychological or anything it’s abuse for the mere fact of abuse
And imagine a lot loves them ending up together with flowers and rainbows as if it was a normal ending for this kind of story.
The reason why I dropped Yaoi is exactly because those type of people. They think rape here is hot and so is abuse. They glorify Seungho just cause he’s hot. They sexualize, normalize and romanticize abuse and rape in relationships and ship super toxic couples. That’s why I dropped this for a month and why I dropped Yours To Claim, I don’t think anyone in their right mind can ship those couples. Fans praising and thirsting over those kind of behavior disgust me, I have friends who were raped and THATS NOT something to take lightly
I just don’t see how there’s a “happy ending” with them together with so much toxicity in their relationship. At best case, for the people that want them to end up together is for them to separate and heal for a while and maybe reunite when Nam isn’t so vulnerable and can have thoughts of his own without being forced to be there. That would be the best case scenario. Where the Lord asks for forgiveness and Nam is willing to start over but this one is tough. There’s just so much abuse.
