As for me, I used to do it, and I still do. When I was a kid, I would try to calm myself down after my mom punished me or hurt me with her harsh words and punishments. She scared me to death back then, and honestly, she still does. My dad didn't really help either, so I had to comfort myself, especially because my mom didn't want to hear me cry or ......
