chapter 30 feels like that one HR meme template where him with his beard takes up the top panel and the new 'glow up' takes the bottom panel
the whole story was actually going really well, the pacing was quite fast but the last few chapters left so many ployholes, su yao's true family has not yet been resolved, the whole plot point of her apparent adoptive family and blood-related family is just left in the air. The final confrontation between the seventh prince, the Mu family and empress was rushed so fast it was 1) not satisfying, 2) left a bunch of plot holes, such as what happened to them in the end, the matter of minister chu's true identity is introduced and just ignored in the ending. It feels so unsatisfying at the end bc a lot of the plot points introduced are just simply unresolved and it seems like they just dumped in a rushed happy ending. 6.5/10

No they're talking about the first or second chapter. I am of the belief that Yiho was conditioned and trained that what he did was an dominant alphas job and I can see OP's aversion to it and why they won't read further.
