I’ve been craving another story about an mmorpg I’ve read NETKAMA Punch!! And The guild mate next door and now I’m fiending for more. TBH I don’t mind if the manga are just video game adjacent either like I’ve also read and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of shoujo/ Josei manga about gamer couples like “love is hard for otaku” and soemthing about leveling yamada kun to 9999? Etc etc I don’t really remember the names cus they’re type of manga’s I binge in like two days but yea I’ve been rereading TGMND and NETKAMA punch and would like a bl akin to them
My first time it legit had me pulling an all nighter as I scoured the internet for the ln and this time I can say the manwa ending is satisfying enough….thats a lie I’ll probably go read the side stories later
I genuinely love how everyone has come to the same consensus that the joon and daewoon ship is forces as hell since that one scene. IMO it really could have worked if that scene had been done differently or just removed ig like had daewoon approached him romantically and confessed his crimes and been rejected I could actually see the story moving them towards each other but it's just the fact that the author chose to start their arc with a rape scene and hoped we would move on from it that has become an issue. I want to like this pairing but I don't feel it's right to pretend that he didn't assault joon physically and sexually. In fact, like many others, my main gripe with this story has been how it has tried to sweep this part of the story under the rug. I love this story whole heartedly so it does disappoint me a bit when this ship is reinforced by the author themself. Although lowkey consent has always been an issue with them seeing as how even the main couples relationship started with dubious consent.
Also while I was writing this like four new comments popped up and that made me realize we all lowkey be here at the same time
It was lowkey my bad I should NAWT have checked these comments while only being on ch 95 but I didn’t realize the story would change THAT much
We’ve been known they met when she was a kid what did yall expect?? and by how the dad was treating him he was still pretty young comparatively or sum idk how elves work but we can’t be that shocked and it’s not like he raised her
The art was eating DOWN today like the shots in the tub and the child to adult parallel frames it’s all so good and it just makes the cliffhanger hurt that much more
