Considering the latest chapters, shouldn’t Josh start questioning his situation by now?
He just made a huge promise to Chase, telling him he could “trust him” and that he would protect him, yet the very next day he lies to him to go buy suppressants—only to keep lying afterward.
I completely understand why he hid the truth and his child at the beginning, but given his development and now that he knows how twisted Chase’s family is, shouldn’t he be worried about his child being discovered? Or at least start feeling guilty about constantly lying to Chase?
And how is it possible that this amazing firefighter is going to end up with that awful brother? He doesn’t deserve to be loved! Please tell me Dane won’t just let himself be treated badly, and that he’ll make that jerk get on his knees and beg for forgiveness… please?
