In Korea 19 is the legal age. I think if the age gap had been smaller, like if he had been 17, it wouldn't have been a problem. But 14 is really young.

No. I agree. But again it's because he's really young. The legal age is 19 in Korea, so he just became legal. But yes, as a legal adult, it is gross to kiss a child. I don't remember the story specifically bcz I read it so long ago. Like I had said, if the age gap is less, like the younger one is 17, and the "adult" is 19, it's not a problem..the problem is the age gap. Not saying it's ok either way, but let's say the ML hadn't kissed the child at 19, but at 18, while he's not yet a legal adult, the MC would be 13, and the age gap is the same, but one is not yet a legal adult. But the gap is still big and the MC would still have been a child, and the ML is not yet an adult. If that makes sense. They're still considered minors at that point, but MC is just way too young.

But you're talking about a DIFFERENT scenario altogether. Consenting ADULTS. Which wouldn't make sense in terms of this story. The point is that they "connected" BEFORE MC came of age. It would have been a different story ENTIRELY. So MY argument is that if both had been underage, it wouldn't have been a "grown man" (no 19 y.o. is a grown man, he's a young adult, still in his teens, not a grown man) kissing a child. Both will still be considered MINORS. So if you shifted the story from a 19 y.o. kissing and whatever else with a 14 y.o. to an 18 y.o. kissing+ whatver else with a 13 y.o. then the legal issue is resolved. Becz the WHOLE story revolves around their COMiNG of AGE and secondary gender manifestation. Secondary gender manifestations don't want for no man. It doesn't matter if you're legal or not it just manifests and you go into heat. I'm not saying what he did is ok. Because at that point he is an adult. But to make the story "less gross" they could have made the ML not legal age yet. Secondary gender differentiations occurs during puberty and they can go into heats and ruts any time.
