I don't think it will be after this chapter. First they are not done with what they are doing right now. And I won't forgive them if they skip Josh and Dane's meeting. I think no one will, since everyone who knows Dane wants to see him drawn by this artist. And that meeting should come before what you wrote.

You not have just two stories that take place around the same time, saw that newspaper article at the beginning? That's part of "Run away if you can", the pair of Nathaniel. And it fits the look the author envisioned for Chrissy, although there was no description of him except that he was very handsome. So the author probably made clear that it needs to be included.
The one Dane is part of takes place a few years later, but in KMIYC you see some of his character. And it would be very strange if it's not included. In addition, Dane is Josh's friend. You see them interact in 3 novels, and the part of Josh's character that better is unknown to Chase often comes up.lol And Dane was a fan favorite of KML, plus he is the pair of the author's crazy ultra dominant one -Grayson.
I read the novel and in the next scene, Josh goes to the trailer and Chase is in there and punches him like three times lmfaooo he’s so mad he thinks Josh is cheating on him and confront him and then Josh I think hit him one time and then before he hit him again he stops and says” Chase can you tell me why you’re hitting me?” And then Chase says that he caught Josh cheating and Josh is like boy that is my sister.chase is a huge baby guys
