i watched the drama firsr and honestly, i prefer this over the drama but the dramas season 1 about sieun/grays backstory in byuksan was def better in the drama because its more heartbreaking since the trio's bond just felt so relatable.
. I like that this is more about the union than in the drama and how it goes into depth with every character, to me its a completely different story than the drama and this has its own uniqueness unlike the drama. I thought this would be similar to lookism, but I was just super invested in every chapter, the relationships and character building is just everything to me. They let the side characters have their own part while giving attention to the main ones and it dosent feel forced at all its just all natural.
The fight scenes are amazing too, no other story has made my heart clench so much. Its just super emotional for me especially donalds last fight, it was dissapointing that he died that way but it was understandable. He died in a way he couldnt predict, naturally and i feel that is what he needed the most.
The ending was good, it was happy but where are the side stories ╥﹏╥
What was really frustrating is that some panels were blacked out or unreadable and everyone was just switching between korean and english names like even though i know both of it, its kinda annoying.

Both Yuki and Ryohei are absolutely trash bastards its just that Yuki actually cares and has a brain. But No matter how good his intentions were, it wont change the fact he sa'd Mako and continued to do so when so clearly hes in a relationship. Even if Yuki continues to show love to Mako it wont always be like that, just from these 39 chapters Yuki has a clear tendency to be Possessive, Manipulative, and Sadistic but its more like an on/off switch. He truly does not want to hurt Mako but he does even though Mako dosent notice or acknowledge it since his (assuming) first love is formed through manipulation and turned into an abusive relationship.
The biggest trash here is Ryohei cuz bro knows what he is doing.. Yuki somewhat dosent notice until a while but at least he apologizes? But continues to do the actions he does.. so its just a never ending cycle of torment for Mako bro
Mako is a victim of abuse, he experienced kindness from Ryohei and that caused him to believe and rely on him, its an unhealthy attachment and he assumed tolerating someone means loving them. I dont think he truly loved Ryohei, he loved who he thought he was.
Anyways, Art is good, sex is ok, Yuki is hot, Every character pmo, the only interesting part might be Yuki's true self/ his backstory.

just finished reading. Genuinely, what the fuck. I wasnt expecting all of this like yeah i knew this author was a chef the way they be cooking up these stories but I def prefer this over Home far away. The writing is just so poetic? And the symbolisms, metaphors, the relationship between the two just make me cry. The last 2 chapters def made me cry. I took a long break reading this cuz i red 1-7 in a day at school then left it for 2 months.
