Usually I hate it when translators add slang and accents but this time I dont mind it.
well, just fyi their satoori accent in the korean raw is really strong. but there’s so much mistranslation, for example after cheol caught seojin pooping he called him “gashina" (가시나) which means girl or young woman, for gramps and the villager they called seojin “yeom-byeong” (염병) which means shit, damn it, etc. in context for a nickname, it could mean troublemaker or something like that. also the junior on campus gave seojin a compliment by saying that he’s so handsome and he could live just by drinking dew
I assume translating slang and accent can be quite difficult if you also try to translate cultural meaning and vibe. A lot of stuff gets lost in translation so personally prefer 99% of the time that the translations have standard english because its odd to read american country pumpkin slang/accent on a korean manhwa (as a non american). Kinda like if I read this in finnish and they translated this to have a niche small finnish town accent. I would feel awkward reading it.
