So… you know how the Prince told Adele when she was younger that she reminded him of his sister in law (the crown prince’s deceased fiancée)? Well in the last chapter she really does look similar to Adele. And it was also revealed the second prince hadn’t met Adele at any point before or during the time the crown prince’s fiancée was alive. I wonder if, once the crown prince killed his fiancée, her soul was transferred and became Adele, his fated mate.
So did she actually live and he was on the road for so long that the letters couldn’t reach him? Or was he hallucinating? Also, I cried nonstop for two hours after finishing this series. My heart still hurts and I’ve genuinely lost my appetite for the day. I’m grieving. I just wanted them to be happy.

OR it could be because she overheard the reason why they don’t have names. I was thinking the same thing. I feel like it’s been indirectly confirmed. He’s obviously been constantly searching for her, but doesn’t want to get close. I’m assuming it’s because he doesn’t want to get attached before her envitable demise to the crown prince. Maybe she’s only been able to remember that one specific life because it had stronger emotions attached to it? Something is obviously special about that specific life where she was poisoned by tea because by the slight mention of her name, the noble man immediately recognized it. It would be different if it had only been several lives since then, but it’s been LONG since that life so something especially special had to have happened.
