I don't really even think he's love averse, I would say he's cautious and probably healing with time from his trauma? Like, he's on his own, focusing on his studies and gets on with casual dating and hook ups. People need time and money (for therapy) to deal with some deep-rooted stuff, and he has neither atm, he's a broke college student that works his ass for his scholarship. Also Mioro said it before as well, Jaehyuk is a piece of work and is just becoming a decent person rn, dude was a total prick before getting rejected.
