He is a villain with tragic back story and series of betrayals, for now we don't know how his future is going to be tbh. I don't want to spoil since he is a pretty intriguing character up to you if you like him or no (⌒▽⌒)

To oversimplify it, when nahan was younger he met someone whose referred to as “sage” n the sage used his abilities to brainwash nahan into devoting his life to the star of nargan
When you realize that it has only been about a day since he arrived yet a lot of chapters and things happened already and he just unpacked two chapters ago(≧∀≦)

By chapter 14 the issue how mc tries to get the throne finally gets cleared up and they reconcile with the queen. The following chaps after that is how mc builds relationship to his family based on how i saw the raws.
Based on the novel, after he helped treating the allergy of the youngest, formerly known as “crab curse” he will be granted freedom for (1) treating a royalty (2) giving light of the disease - the queen was also fed false rumors by her own family and was very embarrassed/guilty that she treated MC like that. The emperor was also not aware of the nasty rumors and helped clarifying that Asha is a very nice kid and had no dreams of claiming the throne.
It is a long novel.
Once he finished this present problem with his family, there will be tons of kingdom related problems that he will give solution of. Also some minor family related cute moments— all in all, the annoying part is just this part of the series
