Ahahahah I definitely love Lloyd but this manhwa is a whole different story so it works fine for me. Just don't necessarily add romance coz it'll ruin the show. Maybe at later time where everything is fine and stable.
They lack communication, but I guess even for me, I wouldn't do what woo-won did, meeting with a bastard who threatens his own family is just a plain monster. And Seo-an offering money isn't gonna solve everything. A bad move for a fckin' addict.
