Yall really never heard of internalised homophobia, huh? Personally I like Asa’s character purely for this fact, yeah he’s an asshole and taking his internal conflict out on Yuru and lashing out etc, but this is something some people go through and react this way about. (He’s also very clearly unable to keep his hands off Yuru and I find that a hilarious karma for the slurs.) I’d punch him if I was there, but he’s a very human character and I lowkey appreciate that well-written type. It’s way more interesting than most plot conflicts in other BLs. Also he was rough with Yuru, (and Yuru was clearly into the roughness) but he didn’t do anything Yuru didn’t wanna do, and hitting Shiori was an accident, he didn’t deserve to get raped for those and I wish the brother guy had just beat him up and asked for money. (yes, I know he was being whiney ass and pulling her arm before, but thats still not deserving of torture/rape)

Ao3 writers and Manhwa translators give the exact same energy with their memes/notes/thoughts at the end of chapters and I live for it

Some people were saying that the MC is acting too similar to the (icky) hyung by being jealous, that’s so overboard. Being jealous doesn’t make him like the manipulative hyung, the mc also stated that he knows having other friends is good for him but It’s normal to feel jealous about someone you like being closer with another person especially when you feel your own distance to the person is growing, the difference is acting on such feelings to control the other person or taking it out on them like the (fall down a cliff pls) hyung did with his “punishment”. Feelings are not the same as actions, and you can be a heathly partner while being jealous or upset about something.

Oh my gods. I could handle it being similar to solo leveling (since I read similar isekai manhwas a lot too) but the blatant rip-off of Weeping Angels was just too much. The amount of total lack of originality makes me wanna set this on fire. It’s not even “inspired by” or subtle. They legit just grab anything that looked cool, slapped solo leveling art style and plot arc on it and sent it out like packaged junk food. 2/10

I can’t get over my hate for the long-haired guy. He purposely gave bad advice and actively tried to screw over Gyeum’s relationship with a guy his age that genuinely liked him, making him miserable, just so he could have a fuck buddy substitute -who again, was in high school.- for his abroad girlfriend. Groomed Gyeum only to assault him while he was upset and drunk and then manipulated him into thinking they were in a relationship while he had no intentions of it being like that, and making Gyeum think he was crazy for thinking he was cheating. Shit is fucked up. Bro needs to get run over and find a sense of karma. From a fully body cast, preferably. I guarantee you that girl would not take him back if she know the whole story beyond “he cheated on me because he missed me.”

It was so perfect. Everything was absolutely perfect, and it all got ruined by MC getting weird ideas. “Humans aren’t the problem with the world, my unnatural existence is.” Like what? No, human are completely the problem, you were in the right, kill them Protecting the few humans you like is fine, they can live and start things over, but near-extinction of humans is definitely needed

They really dressed up all the horrific things with pretty art and time skips. The mental toll that time in the tower took on them, even affecting them 7 years later… and the MC is still turning into the villain from the novel despite prior knowledge and thinking she wouldn’t, but at least she knows why the novel villainess was that way now and can do her eviling better
