i don’t write hate comments ever but i’m just trying to vent my frustrations at the current yaoi scene. everything is so formulaic, characters are one dimensional, and plots are so repetitive i could guess the ending off of just one panel, the art style is amazing yes! applaud! but just because you can draw doesn’t mean you can write. i mean what happened to creating a lesson to learn in a story? what happened to symbolism? what happened to making readers guess? the misunderstandings trope is only so good for so long, so far this series has been misunderstanding after misunderstanding, the characters are unrewarding and stand for nothing they have no interests, personalities or exhibit normal human behaviors. am i growing out of the boy love scene? or are we just lowering the standards for what qualifies as a good? i equate this series to the same satisfaction you get from a mind numbing scroll that leaves you feeling 160 brain cells lighter,

Honestly I agree. Also this is a trend that I ve been seeing a lot in the yoi scene bro i miss when there was actual deep complex characters and development or character who felt human now i can only see them in 2d, they feel so flat to me, maybe that s why the misunderstanding trope feels probably like the easiest to many authors that s why they opt for it. The only yoi i really liked lately is the kiss me if you can but it s also not perfect. Anyways girl if i find anything good i ll let you know T-T we re in this together lol

i really like it. i like waiting. i like the characters. and guys guys i really hate the state of the current yaoi environment. me not hating this says something about the quality of this story! everyone saying “we’re on chapter blah blah blah and we haven’t gotten anywhere.” my friends, patience please. have you never read a proper slow burn? we are on a journey currently and you dopamine addicted friks… need to understand this. was rome built in a day? no. so this relationship won’t be sprung about thoughtlessly in a night. i must say this- we only have the main characters perspective- we don’t have the ukes. he obviously is very unique and with that- probably has a REALLY interesting perspective of this situation. his facial expressions, what he commentates on, and things about his home environment (eg fridge) reveal that this guys not okay. so the slow burn is going to take a while yes the tops a loser simp but if you don’t want a loser simp go click on the main page and read any of your run of the mill yaoi’s. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
