I’m in chapter 62. So far… It's not that good in my opinion..
I decided to give it a try because it's been in my to-read list for so long and I've read comments recommending this one as a classic. I love slice of life stories so I thought it was gonna be a banger, but I haven't been able to invest myself in the story at all, everything happened so fast and at the same time nothing has happened. The characters got together so quickly with just a few meet ups in like chapter 20 of 100, then in just what I consider was the biggest plot point (the bottom’s friends passing away) got revealed and explained some chapters later, since then everything just feels like filler, I even skip the sex scenes cause it feels random and excessive at times.
I can't exactly pin point what exactly is not convincing me, cause I'm so far along now that I can't keep giving excuses or “read more” to get into it. I just don't feel anything for any character, can't immerse myself in the story either.
Maybe the side stories are better for me, i love the guideverse concept so guess ill just continue cause i dont want to drop this :/

I absolutely ADORE how the artist draws the scenes of them together, it's feels like we are looking into their daily life, so intimate and cozy. The light touches, you can feel the closeness of their relationship by how their bodies are shown.
The ambience is drawn to be quiet, cold and somber and yet they feel so warm together.
This manhwa sometimes lulls me to sleep because of how cozy they look.
Can someone tell what they did to sayoung when Prometheus had him ? Plssss I wanna know

there are no really details in the novel, but prometheus is experimenting of artificial human awakening. since sayoung has a poisoned body, his body is extremely valuable. they doing everything to forced awakening him. In later chaps, prometheus will come out and bring with them some monsters from their experiments, they will be a copy of sayoung's power

It's honestly kinda hilarious how badly everything is going, like the downfall of this manga is insane. Following it from the beginning, it just seems like a completely different story now
I hate jingi bro the author is trying so hard to pin them together and now by taking heonjae out of the picture (not my fave but whatever both are cray) I fear the inevitable is going to happen.
Best ending is he ends with nobody and out of jail and the pedo uncle gets prison time and is violently punished for his doings everyday of his sentence
My bet? Hes gonna end up living with both of them in the end, with his little sister closer to Jingi (since her personality is a mixture of his and mc) and his little brother closer to Heonjae (whose personality is a mixture of him and mc).
Its gonna have a happy ending...hopefully.
