I was so excited for the side couple, but not anymore after the recent chapters. It bothers me when jintae repeatedly show he's not okay with bottoming but dawun doesnt have any bit of care. Now we see jintae is "okay" with being the bottom but its still painful to watch for me

From my pov, jintae seems to go with the wave because he was pushed. dawun is so egoist too. Instead of going slow and let jintae be comfortable with things yet, he keeps pushing jintae and go all the way

Also dont come at me for yapping about this. If I didnt like the story, I would just leave. I had expectations for the side story because I liked how the main story went. Now, I'm disappointed

    eii August 5, 2026 1:55 am

I know dawun asked jintae why he doesnt want to bottom. But does he actually listen to what jintae said? No, they go all the way at that same night. And jintae was saying that will be the last time he ever bottoms, but yea its not

Same I'll probably drop this. I was really looking forward to this couple but it's not a nice read anymore

eii July 25, 2026 11:04 pm

The first few chapters or maybe just chapter one were talking about something thats more than human. So I thought Guwon was that thing. But it never brought up again so I guess we all forgot about it. Andddddd its something abot Sisyphus for sure. Or maybe Guwon is the Hound of Teacher, so the Sisyphus is Teacher after all

If they switch later, I'm going to give this story a standing applause

eii July 3, 2026 2:12 am

Reading this story is so funny because none of the main casts are sane except Mooyeol. Even Seongah is kinda questionable, but it makes sense because he was raised by weird angels and devils for a while lol. I cant remember everything but iirc only Mooyeol had a crisis where he questions others actions while the other were just "oh bloody hell it happened, okay lets go fix this before it went worse to save our arse"

    CoffeeJelly July 3, 2026 6:23 am

I think Seongah is sane, but he’s a bit slow and dumb cos the angels likely let him do whatever and Joon never put him through education (til the end)

Hmmm, yea I agree with you. Then it make more sense for the sane ones to be only humans

eii July 3, 2026 1:52 am

The author laid it out clearly why Joon doesnt care about what Daewoo did to him and you guys still whining about it. Seems like you guys forgot fr that they are not humans in this story and this is fiction. Moreover Joon was an incubus (or succubus, I forgot which one is for male) and he rapes people daily for life lol. The point is they are not humans, not even Daewoo, they dont stand by human morals. You guys are reading A FICTION, not a real case

You are allowed to critism a story but bro its been weeks and you guys put yourself into this by continue reading their story. If you dont like them you can just ask in the comments if the main couple is here yet but no, you decided to read an arc that you knew you hates to whine about it again and again and again

    eii July 3, 2026 1:59 am

Rape isnt necessary in stories, I agree. It happened here, but its fiction. The story is fiction, the characters are fictional and the setting is unrealistic. The author did handle this topic badly but these characters are not human and doesnt stand by humans moral

Also I hope you guys put this big hating energy towards real rapists too, because if not you just wasted your so perfect moral here. And againnn, please dont treat fictional rape in unrealistic scenario the same as the real one, its different

    mei July 3, 2026 2:30 am

I completely agree. They’re devils and going by devils standards so I don’t see the issue here. People here acting like they’re being forced to read this and just be mad every week

hot dead husband July 3, 2026 2:10 pm

i mean im a chud so im gonna complain and keep reading anyway i understand that they are devils its just… well…. i really really REALLY dont like daewoo, from the moment he was introduced i HATED him. on the other hand, joon is my 3rd favorite character. and daewoo has caused joon a lot of pain. even if joon forgives him i will still be a fierce daewoo hating warrior. if there are 0 daewoo haters then i no longer exist

Doesn't change the fact they were raised as siblings their whole lives. Even if he left the house 10y ago it doesn't mean they didn't know about each other and didn't consider each other as siblings. And them not being related was only revealed not long ago. I don't mind this specific case because it happened as plotted by mc and he did that whithout caring if it's wrong or not...
Honestly that kind of they are not blood related argument irks me because it denies the whole concept of adoption. It's basically saying you can't be family if tou aren't blood related. That unconscious mindset is offensive to me specifically because I have adopted siblings. Another reason is because that is the kind of "reasoning" step-related abusers use to try to justify their behavior so I'm not fond of it.
Im not denying it can happen or even judging people that like this kind of tabooish relationship... it's just not my vibe.
I do believe most felt uncomfortable by them falling for each other when it's been so recent their finding out they are not related. And I won't point fingers to it when this one has a whole bunch of taboos happening around... If they were the main couple and their relationship the main focus I would've dropped because It's not my taste... as it wasn't that heavily romanticized and another machination of mc I'm coll with it...

    whatsthedifference June 22, 2026 3:24 am

they weren't even raised like siblings regardless of blood relation. like they didn't even live in the same house for the majority of their lives and had no feelings romantic or otherwise for each other till the mc came into this universe

Historically, adoption for marriage is quite common. You're just seeing it through your own social norms and values. In practice, it's still happening today in parts of the world. People who are raised together don't necessarily grow feelings of kinship just because they are near. If so, my neighbour would be my sibling.

Yeah... unless is in cases where legally marrying is still illegal, like some same gender couples adopting the other instead, It still seems like a not so nice thing yk... yes, it did happen and still do, but in that case at least both parties are aware they are the other's future spouse.
It is different growing together as friends and as family. You wouldn't think your neighbor is your sibling but you also wouldn't lust over a sibling or guardian... nor fall in love with a sibling after not seeing them for some time. In the case of the story they both believed they were blood related for most of their lifes, independent of them being close or not. The change from believing someone is a family member to lover was very abrupt and what irks some of the readers.
I do feel very uncomfortable with depiction of this kind of relationship because of my sense of moral and values. And same goes for most readers that dislike such a trope. My reply was with the intent to explain why to those who dislike it being not blood related or raised apart is not enough to justify it, not to condemn people who are into that trope.

I wanted to add on without replying to you directly cause Idw to look like I’m coming after your ass, idk why you even mentioned “adoption” because there’s no “adoption” related shit. You have adopted siblings? Super happy for you but 0 relevance to this story. The thing about “step-related abusers” you mentioned, okay fair. But idk how you thought about this because once again 0 relevance to this specific story…

Once again I’m reiterating that I’m not coming for your ass and it’s totally valid that you don’t like this step sibling trope, a lot of people don’t and it’s fine but,,, your argument was so bad I couldn’t help but leave a reply.

I want to highlight that I never say adoptive siblings arent family. From my understanding, incest is counted when they share the same blood. Being a family through adoption doesnt make you share the same dna

Adoptive siblings can be family even when they dont share the same blood. Friends can be family even when they dont have the same last name. Your neighbour can be family when you do anything for each other you start to develop familial relationship. You can grow up with your classmate and think of them as family when you depends on them a lot

Relax, were just having a conversation while having different opinions... that doesn't mean it's a fighting kind of discussion... ^^
My mention of adoption is more to explain why the not blood related argument doesn't work for me. Not about the story per se. It was really just explaining why it still makes me slightly uncomfortable even though I know they are not blood related.
About the story... again, I'm not really uncomfortable about it because I knew what I was getting into and compared with the other things them getting together is very mild in comparison... and their relationship ain't the focal point of the story so I'm good... don't worry... I usually read the coments of rofan before reading so I can avoid the topics that bother me. I'm ok with this one because it's about the villain ^^

No worries, I didn't imply that you said so. It was really just to explain why that argument doesn't work for some readers. In my case is because I have kin not related by blood.
On the incest topic, you are right, it's not considered incest since there's no blood relation. Now comes the not so nice part and another reason I'm not fond of this trope. Again, just explaining things and not picking fights or whatever ok? Just expanding on the topic of incest.
You see, there's this thing called faux-cest... the fake incest that encompasses relationship between family members not related by blood. While we find it in some rofan comics it started and is way more popular in another kind of media... corn. And you see, this faux-cest genre started there for a very specific reason, depicting incestuous seggs is a crime. So instead they use the step and adoptive family members instead so it's not axed for being incest... so yeah... they use it so scratch the itch of people that want to see incest but can't.
Again... that was just a kind of trivia and not about the story or people commenting here. Just some useless knowledge internet gave me that makes me more prone to dislike the trope... not meaning that others should dislike too. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I guess to put it differently, I'm personally unbothered because I feel it's often times inadequate and unfair to retroactively fit modern sensibilities to the historic past.
Like, with royalties and nobilities, they sometimes married their half siblings to preserve bloodline... or out of some religious belief.
In the case of these two, they may have thought they were blood siblings, but they never once had the feeling of "this person is my family", and even disliked each other until recently. Then suppose, for people in a timeline where marriage between relatives is common, finding out they weren't related and falling in love isn't that much of amoral stretch, at least not for this specific environment.

That's a real valid point... I'd just like to correct you that even then between haf-siblings was very uncommon and frowned upon. The "keep in the family" thing was more about wealth and politics than bloodline and happened more between cousins and uncles and nieces.
On that historical note of rofan it bothers me how they mix in the eastern notion of noble men having multiple wives into a western nobility setting to justify siblings fighting each other for inheritance when in actuality the fighting was between full blood siblings and while they did keep mistresses them and their child had no rights whatsoever over inheritance... I tend to ignore it but I can't help feeling "wrong setting for that" each time I see it both in rofan and those returnees stories... feels like seeing templars and western dragons in a murim setting... but I digress...
On the relationship between Juliette and Sigurd I think the point is that they didn't know they weren't blood related until recently. Even when they weren't close and disliked each other they still believed they were family. As such both them finding out and falling for each other came in a abrupt way... a belief of 10+ years as siblings turned into romantic love in less than 6 months.
In my case what makes it more acceptable is that this is a story about villains so they don't care about justice morality and such... and I wonder how much Juliette is in the know... and how much of Sigurd falling for her was intentional on her part... besides the fact that both their parents and siblings are ok with it... It was actually planned by mc unlike Jorga falling for him and Lytro for Malaki... so I agree, it's not a strech in such environment...

I understand your sentiments and see your point. I think this matter is just, they didn't really have time to cram in Juli and Sid's romance due to lack of time, space, or effort, since as you said, it's not really the main attraction/focus of the work.

But on the topic of sibling-marriages again, yes it's more common between less immediate relatives in western spheres, but actually it varies a lot from region to region across the world, especially the older you dig. It wasn't necessarily frowned upon depending which places and specific time periods you look up (because it's in recorded history, it can be referred to). The reasons are often politics and wealth, indeed, but even tribal and ruling states cite other reasons like bloodline purity for religious belief. Like in some parts of Asia, the ruling class was said to have been descended from deities, and the populace wanted less genetic dillution from them. Well, it was probably a combination of many reasons, Like, using that religous piety to hold onto power and wealth. Etc. but you get the jist.

Oh it certainly did happen in parts of the world... just not on the epoch where these rofan settings are based... just like emperor's in these stories having the empress, queens and consorts and their children fighting for inheritance when they are based on a very monogamous time... like... we got a whole new religion because a king wanted to get together with the mistress right? So it's kinda discordant to me... like imagine if Karis was a eastern dragon on such a western setting... or if the emperor's robe in eastern settings was embroidered with a western dragon...
I know it's fantasy and as such I try to overlook... but it still feels weird and funny...
But back to this story... yeah as long as it's acceptable in the setting... it's fine... Even Veneloppe is cousins with crown prince and about to marry him so... yeah... I got numbed by all the other things that happened so it doesn't even seem that bad in comparison...
